How much is a Reiki session with Amy?

Reiki sessions in Raleigh, NC are 1 hour long and cost $80. During your time with me you will have my undivided and undistracted attention. Please keep in mind that this applies to each of my clients so if you arrive late and I have another appointment booked after yours, your appointment may have to be cut short to end at the scheduled time. I will do my best to accomodate you when I can. I promise to be respectful of your time and I ask that you extend the same consideration to me, as well as my other clients.

I occasionally offer Reiki sessions in other parts of North Carolina so if you would like to set up a session with me but are unable to meet for a Reiki session in Raleigh, NC, please contact me to see if I will have any upcoming availability in a location that is convenient for you.

What should I expect during a Reiki session?

During your first visit if you want to talk about any issues that are bothering you, you are more than welcome to do so but the energy from a Reiki treatment will go where it is needed most, and you don't have to tell me anything about why you are seeking a Reiki session unless you want to.

You will remain fully clothed during the Reiki session which will take place on a table similar to a massage table. I will have you lay down on your back and close your eyes. You will have a moment to relax, meditate, or say a mantra, anything that puts you at ease. I will take this time to pray and give thanks for the healing energy.

I will then start the Reiki session, I like to do a complete session from head to toe. I will ask for your permission to place my hands on you when I begin the session. You may be asked to take a deep breath in and to blow it out. When I am ready for you to roll onto your front, I will ask you to gently roll over.

When I am finished I always place one hand on your back and ask quietly that the session will be a blessing to you. Then I will say, "OK, we are all done. Take your time and get up when you feel like it." I am available to speak for a few minutes after about anything you may want to discuss about the reiki session.

Some clients like to talk about their experience, some clients like to sit for a while before they get up. I have had some clients that need to be held or hugged for a little bit. I like to give each client the time to do what is comfortable for them. My goal is for this whole process to be a peaceful, relaxing and positive experience for you, the client.

What if I need to cancel?

I require a 24 hour cancellation notice for appointments. Appointments that are cancelled without 24 notice but with at least a 2 hour notice are subject to a $30 late cancellation fee. Short notice cancellations and missed appointments are subject to the full session price. Late arrivals can still have a session if there is enough time, but your session may have to be shorter than normal to accomodate subsequent appointments that day and will still be charged at full session price.
